KWL

what i Know about caterpillars:

Madi - they turn into butterflies
Kassie - they have a lot of legs and they are slow, when they crawl they can stick to walls
Kaden - they eat leaves
Gavin - first they turn into cocoons and then they turn into butterflies
Dani - they get in their cocoons and start to change into a butterfly, when they walk there are lumps in their back
Jace - they can get inside the cocoons and they can die, some are hairy and some are not
Abbi - they can turn into a crystal, then they turn into a butterfly
Kelby - if kids mess with them while they are in a cocoon, they can die
Sarah - when they are in the cocoons, if kids play with them too much they can die in the cocoon
Jude - they eat so much and they get fat and longer and longer

what i Want to learn:

Kassie - How do they change inside the cocoon?
Madi - How do they eat so much? How long do they stay in the cocoon?
Jace - How many weeks or days does it take for them to hatch from the cocoon? How much do they weigh and how long do they get?
Sarah - How do they eat so much and not die? How do they get out of the cocoon?
Abbi - How long do they eat? How much do they weigh?
Kaden - How long do they live? how fat can they get?
Kelby - Why do they need lots of food to live? Why do caterpillars eat leaves and not insects?
Dani - How do they stick to the walls and not fall? How can they eat if they are in the cocoon? How do they fit in the cocoon?
Jude - How much do they eat in a day? How do they eat their eggs?
Gavin - How do caterpillars turn into cocoons? Why are butterflies not slow like caterpillars?
